A 2hr 1-on-1 mentoring session focusing on your current / upcoming photo book projects
Description
In this 120-minute 1 to 1 session, I will be providing feedback and discussion on your current/upcoming photo book projects, and how best to prepare them for the industry. You will also end the session with resources of printers, designers, art book fairs, photo book reviews and bookstores as we go over the following 3 parts:
FIRST SESSION (10-10:45AM)
About 45 minutes lecturing the basic of photo book making from concept, editing, budgeting, production, marketing, distribution and your future career after your book is published. (10am-11am in NY time)
SECOND SESSION (10:45-11:30 AM)
Review your current edit and recommend any improvement of your project idea
THIRD SESSION (11:30-noon)
Discuss what makes a impactful and meaningful for your career. Recommended resources to further research and support your ideas in a competitive market place.
Session Preparation / Confirmation
To reserve a session, please contact me via email, info@sessionpress.com. The cost of the mentoring session is $150 and payment will be available via paypal. Following the purchase of a session, you will receive an e-mail containing details on how to proceed. You will be asked to send a brief summary of the work(s) you wish to present and what you hope to get out of the session. Please send an edit of the project and/or a link to the work that will be shared during the 120 minute session.

Session will be placed on Mondays.

今、制作をしようと思っている写真集はありますか？ もう、編集など終えてどのように、自分の写真集を海外に紹介していこうと考えていますか？ 海外の書店とやりとりで、金銭トラブルをどのように避けられるか、写真集に必要な、海外のマーケットに向けてのコンセプト作り、コミュニケーションのコツなど、日本語で講座を開いています。毎週月曜日にニューヨーク時間で朝の10時からお昼の12時まで２時間の、オンライン（ZOOM) 講習となります。応募の際は、ご自身の作品やリンクをメール（info@sessionpress.com）で送り、特に質問したいことを教えてください。

第１講 (10-10:45AM)
スライドを使い、写真集を制作する上で何が大事なにか、７つのキーポントをお伝えします。
１。写真集作りの精神的な準備
２。写真集の制作の基本的な流れと編集の仕方のポイント
３。予算の組み方
４。コミュニケーションの取り方
５。写真集を作る事る上でどのような生活の変化が必要か
６。写真業界へどのように広めていくか
７。写真集を出した後にどのように活動を展開すべきか
第２講 (10:45-11:30 AM)
今現在制作最中の写真集のレビュー
制作予定の写真集について話を伺う
第３講 (11:30-noon)
今後の写真家としてのキャリアをどのように築くかなど、さまざなな質問に応答させていただきます。
受講前の準備：
今現在制作最中の写真集や、制作し終わった写真集をPDFやリンクをメール（info@sessionpress.com）にて送ってください。もし、構想を練っている最中でしたら、数枚でもいいので、作品を見せていただけますと助かります。
